Normally, teeth are firmly attached to the jaw bone through their roots. Therefore, eating, chewing and biting cannot move the teeth in its normal place. a. If you are experiencing gum disease such as periodontitis, visit your dentist as soon as possible.

The dentist can determine whether the main cause of your loose teeth is the gum disease. The earliest time you consult your dentist the easiest way to address your dental problem properly. Other gum diseases like gingivitis, bleeding gums or sore gums are some of the early symptoms if not treated early will make your teeth loosen. Halitosis or bad breath may also be considered as an indicator that something is really wrong.

b. Practice Good oral hygiene. This is the most effective and easiest way to prevent gum and oral problems to occur.  Brushing and flossing regularly to get rid of the food debris that is left in between teeth and gums.

e. In rare cases which loosen teeth cannot be treated. Dentist will recommend tooth extraction and suggest a dental implant to replace the missing tooth or teeth.
